After Years of playing in various ensembles in 2018 Jon Allan & Ken were introduced by a mutual friend and the core of the Registered Retirement Blues Band was formed.

With a solid rhythm foundation and excellent vocals, the Registered Retirement Blues Band (R2B2) is an entertaining band that delivers classic and contemporary blues ideal for, dances, special events, corporate parties, festivals and fairs!

Band Members

Jon (Lead Guitar and Vocals)

- Jon Started playing in bands in his teens and then moved to writing and recording his own songs. Over the past 40+ years he has recorded numerous songs including two albums since 2013 and performed in open mics and bands. His two albums, "Fully Loaded" and "On Track" can be downloaded from most Streaming Services including iTunes.

Ken (Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals)

- Ken started playing bass in the early 80s and spent several years with a top 40 band "Courier" playing gigs in eastern Ontario. After a long hiatus from playing professionally, while he focused on his family and career, he returned to gigging in 2017 and recently joined R2B2 as founding member.

Allan (Vocals Rhythm and Lead Guitar)

- Allan began playing guitar when he was eleven years old. After many years of practicing and focusing on family and work, Allan returned to actively playing with other musicians 2016. After playing with several rock and dance bands, he joined R2B2 in 2020.

Matt (Drums & Rhythm)

- Matt joined R2B2 in 2022 following the departure of the founding drummer. Matt has a long history of playing in various bands including Rock & Blues with an emphsis on Jazz.
